Pranksters have enrolled the letters KKK on the three ghosts installed at the corner of boulevard Saint-Joseph and route 139 in Drummondville over the weekend, thus transforming the harmless Halloween decorations in racist symbols. Criminals have visibly inspired by the shape and color of ghosts in order to give them the symbol of the white supremacist organization. They pushed the insult still further adorning one of the three spectra of a swastika.
A formal complaint was filed to the Sûreté du Québec to denounce these acts of vandalism. These gestures are not without recalling the hateful graffiti that have lined the city several times in recent months.
